Vernon L. Sheen, DMD  

Dr. Vernon Sheen is a general dentist in Annapolis, Maryland. Since 1991, he has provided patients in Annapolis with comprehensive dentistry service including excellent preventive care programs, cosmetic dentistry and restorative dental treatments.

Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, Dr. Sheen graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1990. Shortly thereafter, he relocated to Annapolis, Maryland and opened The Annapolis Center for Dental Health & Wellness.

Providing his clients with the best possible dental care is a personal goal of Dr. Sheen. Since his graduation, he has logged in over a thousand hours of continuing education including, but not limited to, cosmetic dentistry, implantology, periodontal therapy, TMJ disorders and malocclusion. He is a graduate of the Spear Institute, and has completed coursework at both The Pankey Institute and The Dawson Academy. Dr Sheen has also received training in cosmetic dentistry at the LSU College of Dentistry, considered to be one of the foremost programs nationwide. He is currently enrolled in a nine-part curriculum at the Kois Center, a program that focuses on the latest advances in cosmetic, implant and restorative dentistry. This ongoing education contributes greatly to furthering his clinical skills and maintaining his leadership in the dental field.

Dr Sheen was drawn to Annapolis by its charm and water-focused lifestyle. He is involved with several charitable organizations and donates time in the dental clinic at the Stanton Center. He sails competitively, and recently picked up road biking. He completed his first century ride in the fall of 2014. He is an avid reader and enjoys cooking.
